DNIS Code Detail Report

Reporting on DNIS codes is helpful in management and analysis of inbound toll-free call activity, resource planning for inbound call centers and evaluation of participation in campaigns or programs associated with a specific toll-free number. The DNIS Code Detail report provides call detail for more in-depth analysis of call activity.

Formatting Options

Required Constraints Tab

At the Required Constraints tab of the Execute/Define Reports screen, specify the date and time settings for the report.

Additional Constraints Tab

At the Additional Constraints tab, the default constraints for a DNIS Code Detail report are:

Click the Add Additional Constraints list box to include more constraints in your search criteria.

Options Tab

At the Options tab, the options available will not be the same from one report type to another. Only those options that apply to the selected report will appear. The options available with the DNIS Code Detail report are:

Show report parameters on 1st page: If you select this check box, then a header page for a report will be created. This page displays the options selected, filters, and other settings that went into making up the report.

Show unassigned calls only: Unassigned calls are those calls that have been processed but couldn't be matched with the person who placed or received a call. By checking this box, a report will display only those records that are not assigned to a user.

Tandem calls: Include combined calls, exclude original calls: If you select this check box, then the report will include regular calls not subject to reconciliation as well as the combined calls created by the reconciliation. The calls used to create the combined matched calls will be excluded from the report.

Note: This option appears only if the Call Reconciliation option is turned on.

Layout Tab

At the Layout tab, the options available will not be the same from one report type to another. Only those options that apply to the selected report will appear. The options available with a DNIS Code Detail report are:

Page Break: This list box contains a list of grouping levels. When you select a level, you specify on which grouping level to force a page break. The following page break choices are available with a DNIS Code Detail report:

No forced page breaks (default)
DNIS Code Group
DNIS Code

Sort Fields: This list box displays all of the fields in the DNIS Code Detail report that can be sorted. Select the field on which you want to sort the report, and the direction you want it sorted. The fields you can sort on with a DNIS Code Detail report are:

Call Date & Time (default)
Duration
Billed cost
Base cost
Extension
Facility name
Phone number

Report Details

The columns of a DNIS Code Detail report are:

Date: This column contains the date of the call.

Time: This column contains the time of the call.

Duration: This column shows the length of the call.

Cost: This column shows the cost of the call.

Facility: This column contains the name of the trunk from where the call was placed.

Phone Number: This column displays the digits dialed.

Extension: This column shows extension that placed the call.
