Detail by Authorization Codes Report

This report provides a listing of each call made or received by an authorization code. Detail may also be used for management of employee phone activity, analysis of potential abuse, misuse or fraud and to itemize the billback of services to users, tenants, clients or projects.

Formatting Options

Required Constraints Tab

At the Required Constraints tab of the Execute/Define Reports screen, specify the date and time settings for the report.

Additional Constraints Tab

At the Additional Constraints tab, the default constraints for a Detail by Authorization Codes report are:

Auth Code
Extension
Data Source Name
Call Type
Abandoned

Click the Add Additional Constraints list box to include more constraints in your search criteria.

Options Tab

At the Options tab, the options available will not be the same from one report type to another. Only those options that apply to the selected report will appear. The options available with the Detail by Authorization Codes report are:

Display summary at section end: If this check box is selected, then a summary page will be created at the end of every section of the report.

Show report parameters on 1st page: If you select this check box, then a header page for a report will be created. This page displays the options selected, filters, and other settings that went into making up the report.

Show unassigned calls only: Unassigned calls are those calls that have been processed but couldn't be matched with the person who placed or received a call. By checking this box, a report will display only those records that are not assigned to a user.

Suppress authorization codes: If you select this check box, then a report that normally displays authorization codes will display them as a series of asterisks.

Note: If you are working with a design created in Report Designer, this report option will appear only when the authorization code field is included in the design.

Tandem calls: Include combined calls, exclude original calls: If you select this check box, then the report will include regular calls not subject to reconciliation as well as the combined calls created by the reconciliation. The calls used to create the combined matched calls will be excluded from the report.

Note: This option appears only if the Call Reconciliation option is turned on.

Layout Tab

At the Layout tab, the options available will not be the same from one report type to another. Only those options that apply to the selected report will appear. The options available with a Detail by Authorization Codes report are:

Page Break: This list box contains a list of grouping levels. When you select a level, you specify on which grouping level to force a page break. The following page break choices are available with a Detail by Authorization Codes report:

Sort Fields: This list box displays all of the fields in the Detail by Authorization Codes report that can be sorted. Select the field on which you want to sort the report, and the direction you want it sorted. The fields you can sort on with a Detail by Authorization Codes report are:

Base Cost
Facility Name
Call Type
Phone Number
Extension

Report Details

The columns of a Detail by Authorization Codes report are:

Date: This column contains the date of the call.

Time: This column contains the time of the call.

Duration: This column shows the length of the call.

Cost: This column shows the cost of the call.

Facility: This column contains the name of the trunk from where the call was placed.

Call Type: This column indicates the type of call placed.

Phone Number: This column displays the digits dialed.

Location: This column shows if the call was internal or external.

Extension: This column lists the extension that placed the call.
