Hunt Group Summary Report

This report is only available for Microsoft Lync and Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) platforms.

The Hunt Group Summary report only shows inbound calls (whether answered or unanswered) that were intended for a hunt group. Calls that are not on hunt groups will automatically be filtered out.

Formatting Options

Required Constraints Tab

At the Required Constraints tab, specify the date and time settings for the report.

Additional Constraints Tab

At the Additional Constraints tab, the default constraints for the report will appear. Click the Add Additional Constraints list box to include more constraints in your search criteria.

Options Tab

At the Options tab, the options available will not be the same from one report type to another. Only those options that apply to the selected report will appear. The options available with a Hunt Group Summary report are:

Show report parameters on 1st page: If you click this check box, then a header page for a report will be created. This page displays the options selected, filters, and other settings that went into making up the report.

Include Hunt Groups With No Activity: If you click this check box, those hunt groups with no call activity will still be included in the report.

Layout Tab

At the Layout tab, the options available will not be the same from one report type to another. Only those options that apply to the selected report will appear. The options available with a Hunt Group Summary report are:

Summarize on this Level and Above: This list box contains a list of grouping levels. When you select a level, the report will summarize on that level and all levels above it. The level you choose collapses into a single summation line. The summarizing levels available with a Hunt Group Summary report are:

Sort Fields: This list box displays all of the fields in the Hunt Group Call Handling Summary report that can be sorted. Select the field on which you want to sort the report, and the direction you want it sorted.

Page Breaks: This list box contains a list of grouping levels. When you select a level, you specify on which grouping level to force a page break. The following page break choices are available with a Hunt Group Summary report:

Report Details

Columns

Hunt Group: This column contains the hunt group pilot number and name.

Total # of Calls: This column contains the total number of inbound calls for the specified time period.

Note: When multiple call legs of calls exist that originated on a hunt group, the total number of all call legs will be calculated as the total.

Total Duration: This column contains the total length of time of inbound calls for the specified time period.

Note: When multiple call legs of calls exist that originated on a hunt group, the total duration of all call legs will be calculated as the hunt group duration.

Average Duration: This column contains the average length of time of inbound calls for the specified time period.

Avg. Ring Time Answered (Secs): The average ring time of calls that were not abandoned or forwarded to voice mail. The averages in this column are derived by:

The values displayed in this column are expressed in whole numbers rounded to the next whole second.

# Abandoned Calls: This column contains the total number of unanswered calls. Calls forwarded to voice mail are not included in the total number of unanswered calls.

% Abandoned Calls: This column contains the percentage of calls not answered for the user. The percentage is expressed as 100.0000 to 100.0 rounding to the nearest 1/10 of a percent.

Avg. Ring Time Abandoned (Secs): The averages in this column are derived by:

The values displayed in this column are expressed in whole numbers rounded to the next whole second.

# Forwarded to Voice Mail: This column contains the total number of calls forwarded to voice mail.

% Forwarded to Voice Mail: This column contains the percentage of calls forwarded to voice mail. The percentage is derived by dividing the total number of calls by the number of calls forwarded to voice mail.

Note: In order to run Hunt Group reports, you must set a parameter in Service Parameters under Cluster Wide Parameters. If you do not set this parameter, hunt group reporting will not work!
