Video Detail Report

Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) supports a feature called Cisco Unified Video Advantage (CUVA). With CUVA, a video camera (web cam) can be attached to a PC with a soft phone or a phone itself. With this camera, users can make video calls. The video reports let you bill and report on video calls.

Note: Video reports are available only for those that have Cisco Unified Communications Manager.

Formatting Options

Required Constraints Tab

At the Required Constraints tab, specify the date and time settings for the report.

Additional Constraints Tab

At the Additional Constraints tab, the default constraints for a Video Detail report are:

Each organizational level you defined when installing the product
Owner Name
Extension

Click the Add Additional Constraints list box to include more constraints in your search criteria.

Options Tab

At the Options tab, the options available will not be the same from one report type to another. Only those options that apply to the selected report will appear. The options available with a Video Detail report are:

Group by Code instead of Name: This check box controls how organizational reports are organized. If it is selected, grouping is done by organization code. If the check box is not selected, grouping is done by organization name.

Show report parameters on 1st page: If you select this check box, then a header page for a report will be created. This page displays the options selected, filters, and other settings that went into making up the report.

Layout Tab

At the Layout tab, the options available will not be the same from one report type to another. Only those options that apply to the selected report will appear. The options available with a Video Detail report are:

Page Break: This list box contains a list of grouping levels. When you select a level, you specify on which grouping level to force a page break. The following page break choices are available with a Video Detail report:

No forced page breaks
Each organizational level you defined when installing the product
Owner Name

Sort Fields: This list box displays all of the fields in the Video Detail report that can be sorted. Select the field on which you want to sort the report, and the direction you want it sorted. The field you can sort on with a Video Detail report is:

Note: Be sure to click either the Ascending (default) or Descending option button.

Columns

A Video Detail report contains the columns listed below:

Date: This column contains the dates specified at the Required Constraints tab.

Time: This column contains the time of the video call.

Duration: This column shows the length of the video call.

Video Type: This column shows if the video call was internal, inbound, or outbound.

Phone Number: This column lists the digits dialed.

Leg: The first line of this column shows where the video call originated, and the second line shows the destination of the video call.

Codec: The first line of this column shows the type of codec used where the video call originated, and the second line shows the type of codec used at the destination of the video call.

Bandwidth: The first line of this column shows the bandwidth of where the video call originated, and the second line shows the bandwidth at the destination of the video call.

Resolution: The first line of this column shows the resolution of where the video call originated, and the second line shows the resolution at the destination of the video call.

Totals

At the bottom of the Video Detail report, two totals are displayed:

Person Totals: This total displays the total number of minutes of video calls for the date range specified at the Required Constraints tab.

Call Count: This total displays the total number of video calls for the date range specified at the Required Constraints tab.
